Cotton and Bones print is up for sale! (New background.)

So I can finally sell the Cotton and Bones print because I made my own background for it. C:

The size is around 8x8.5" and will be printed on matte cardstock (unless I don't like the way that turns out, I'll update on that once I get a test print).

The new background was made in Adobe Illustrator. It's not super intricate, but I'm just happy because I made it mahself haha.

In terms of pricing, it'll probably be going for 20 bucksies, but we'll see.

Today, I feel accomplished because I have finished many major projects, on time! (With lots of stress and freaking out involved, of course.)

The bad news is that I can't do stuff for the art sale, there's no way I'd have it done in time. :C

But I will be making prints, eventually. And they will be up for sale, most def.

I'm also excited about the feast they have here for Thanksgiving (or so I've heard). I was told it's just like Hogwarts. I hope this is true, because I am not going home. Too bad. ♥

So the MCAD Art Sale is happening in November, I'm going to be doing three digital prints!

I have to make two of them, and test print the smaller one...but once I get the images done, I'll post them. They will most likely be printed on nice matte finish paper (I'm not a huge fan of semigloss...but if you request a semigloss/other finish print, I'll do it.)

If anyone is interested in buying these, I will totes print+mail. Just let me know. [:

TGIF, I love Fridays. No classes!

Olivia left this morning to go to Dallas for the weekend.

So I'm here by mahself oh goodness. So far I've gotten tons of stuff from the art cellar, made some pasta, and lurked around the building. (People have classes, I keep forgetting that.)

I'm excited about going to the movies sometime this weekend. Where the Wild Things Are! Definitely.

How is everyone? I've heard from a few BTW seniors that they're interested in MCAD.

That is super awesome, I'm excited to know that. If you guys have any questions, you can ask me. Most def. (I'm not exactly pro at MCAD, but I will doooo mah best to be helpful and informative.)

It's rainy and soggy and stuffs outside, but noooo worries. I need to make new arts that are art-saleworthy... I might blow up my illustrator robots and put them in a print, perhaps. I don't know what sells, really. If it doesn't work out I'll just keep thems!

Week two is go.

For my 2D class, I am doing this assignment involving photography (I'm not a huge fan of photography, but this assignment is okay) and we have to take pictures of textures and colours found on Eat Street (a street that has a ton of restaurants, haha).

We're using these photos to make a set of 8 little books. It's pretty cool. Learning how to use InDesign and stuff...

Can't wait until I get assignments that don't involve photography though...

(My Media 1 class is also doing photography assignments, but I don't like those because they're more about photography than design...I mean I guess they're both connected but eh.)


I'm on my second essay for my English class, and I have some sketchbook assignments for drawing. I love drawing, and my teacher.

Art history has been smooth sailing as well.


I want to visit BTW, and also my elementary school!

This first week went juuuust fine. Got work on the first day, and the rest of the dayyyys but it's all good. Not too big of a workload. BTW did a darn gooood job getting me prepared for this.

The weather has been verrryyy nice. I am enjoying it here. You know, aside from the occasional fit of homesickness.

But then I just remind myself that I have holidays!

Finally sick...

After being surrounded by sick people for like...three weeks.

So close to the end of the battle, but they found me! Ahhh.

Last night I took night-time cold medicine for the first time in ages.

Knocked me out good, mmmhmmm.

So, this is the end of first semester.

Yay us.
