Also, someone changed the blog settings to the "old editor" and it didn't have any of the buttons and goodies for posting, so I changed it back to the new one. Ya poops.

So, this program is all sorts of crazy and has tons of tools. So far I am only really comfortable with umm...the pencils and pastels. Yeah! But it was fun, I think I might keep using it.

MCAD is doing a thing with Allina Hospitals (lolololOlivia)

and we're drawing stuff...for their hallways. Fun times.

Went to a life-drawing co-op for the first time Monday night to do homework for my drawing class, and it's actually pretty sweet.

On days when I am not too exhausted, I think I will try to drag myself over to the studio and do more of those. Figure drawing is glorious.

I will document/post some work soon. Yessir!

FDN Drawing 2 (Figure drawing, basically. Or figures in space...anyway I'm excited.)

FDN 3D. (Oh boy...our instructor built his own boat. And house. And tower for his house...)

Media 2 (This will be glorious.)

Reading and Writing 2 (We're reading a lot of Darwin's stuff, and will be going on a lot of "field trips"!)

Intro to Art and Design History 2 (New teacher, smaller class.)

It's barely started and I barely have time for anything! Ah.

Oh, I found this nifty piece of wood on the free shelf.

I'm gonna do an art-nouveau-ish (I love me some Alphonse Mucha) little drawing on it...

I don't really paint (rather, I've never really done any painting...nor do I own paints), but I do have paint markers. Lots of them. Well, we'll see how it goes.

Cotton and Bones print is up for sale! (New background.)

So I can finally sell the Cotton and Bones print because I made my own background for it. C:

Happy happy happy.

The size is around 8x8.5" and will be printed on matte cardstock (unless I don't like the way that turns out, I'll update on that once I get a test print).

The new background was made in Adobe Illustrator. It's not super intricate, but I'm just happy because I made it mahself haha.

In terms of pricing, it'll probably be going for 20 bucksies, but we'll see.

Today, I feel accomplished because I have finished many major projects, on time! (With lots of stress and freaking out involved, of course.)

The bad news is that I can't do stuff for the art sale, there's no way I'd have it done in time. :C

But I will be making prints, eventually. And they will be up for sale, most def.

I'm also excited about the feast they have here for Thanksgiving (or so I've heard). I was told it's just like Hogwarts. I hope this is true, because I am not going home. Too bad. ♥

So the MCAD Art Sale is happening in November, I'm going to be doing three digital prints!

I have to make two of them, and test print the smaller one...but once I get the images done, I'll post them. They will most likely be printed on nice matte finish paper (I'm not a huge fan of semigloss...but if you request a semigloss/other finish print, I'll do it.)

If anyone is interested in buying these, I will totes print+mail. Just let me know. [:

TGIF, I love Fridays. No classes!

Olivia left this morning to go to Dallas for the weekend.

So I'm here by mahself oh goodness. So far I've gotten tons of stuff from the art cellar, made some pasta, and lurked around the building. (People have classes, I keep forgetting that.)

I'm excited about going to the movies sometime this weekend. Where the Wild Things Are! Definitely.

How is everyone? I've heard from a few BTW seniors that they're interested in MCAD.

That is super awesome, I'm excited to know that. If you guys have any questions, you can ask me. Most def. (I'm not exactly pro at MCAD, but I will doooo mah best to be helpful and informative.)

It's rainy and soggy and stuffs outside, but noooo worries. I need to make new arts that are art-saleworthy... I might blow up my illustrator robots and put them in a print, perhaps. I don't know what sells, really. If it doesn't work out I'll just keep thems!
